Sam Fender's 2019 single, "Hypersonic Missiles", is a cynical song told from the viewpoint of a media-obsessed consumer, too distracted to notice real-world atrocities. Inspired by the cynical lyrics, I recreated the cover artwork to revolve around cartoon characters inciting a nuclear war. I created a grainy 1960's photo quality that would conjure historical Cold War imagery. I used Photoshop to splice several stills of Tom the Cat into a lunatic riding a missile.
